River's
Edge Winery
2007
Pinot Gris Pace Family Vineyard
The Pace Family Vineyard
is adjacent to our Black Oak Vineyard, on a moderately sloping west facing
hillside. This vintage was an unusually cool one, which resulted in a wine
with softer citrus notes but a pleasing hint of sweetness. We vinified
the wine in the traditional Alsatian manner in older oak barrels, with
7 months aging, producing a wine with the classic citrus flavor and a ripe
pear bouquet.

River's
Edge Winery
2007 Gewürztraminer
(semi-sweet)
This vintage was a great one for gewürz
which produced intensely flavored fruit. The wine was fermented and aged
in small stainless steel barrels, and bottled early to retain all of it's
freshness and zest. The wine contains 2.5% residual sugar. The wine has
a delightful ripe apple aroma along with a honeyed flavor.
